Her focus has since shifted towards specializing in color consultations and ultimately to dedicating her practice to home staging, for which she earned a professional certification in 2021. Her extensive experience includes collaborations with numerous local craftsmen, through which she gained substantial knowledge about the remodeling industry. Driven by her passion for helping others and building networks, Dawn created Renovate Ready, a thriving Facebook community with over 13,000 members. This platform has become the definitive hub for design, DIY, and remodeling enthusiasts, offering homeowners in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., a place to find vetted, licensed, and insured home service professionals. In 2024, Dawn took a leap of faith and opened an upscale one-of-a-kind boutique called Cheers, My Dear, offering kitchen essentials, vintage wares, and hostess's gifts that reflect a sense of gathering and celebration. The space also offers micro "Pop-Up" events at 42 E Piccadilly St., Winchester, VA. Dawn LOVES connecting people and bringing them together. An opportunity presented itself in Winchester with a need for more transportation as the area continues to grow and brings in many guests looking for tours and entertainment. Before launching Magnolia, I worked as a certified surgical technologist, where I cared for patients in the operating room with precision, compassion, and focus under pressure. In 2012, I followed my entrepreneurial spirit and founded a home staging business, where I worked closely with realtors and homeowners to transform spaces for a faster sale. That work sharpened my eye for detail and taught me how to truly listen — to clients’ needs, their vision, and their expectations.
